Re-Creating Frontiers: Go where you haven't gone (Genesis 50:20)

Updated: Jan 29, 2022

If you would never forgive a family member for a betrayal

If you would never serve a government you don’t agree with

If you would never literally or figuratively run from a tempting situation

If you would never humble yourself when unjustly accused

If you would never take on responsibility for something you didn’t do

If you would never “pollute” your body or mind with what other people eat, drink, or think

You can never hope to be like Joseph.

Joseph’s frontiers stretched from a small town to being known by nations, from being despised by his brothers to being loved by a multitude. How was he able to do it?

He tells us this in Genesis 50:20 (ESV): As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

He stayed faithful to God and trusted God to re-create his frontiers. You should, too.
