The Methodist heritage has been passed down through generations, it's roots extending back to 1784. These roots shape the expressions of our faith in valuing connectionalism,  spiritual disciplines, unity, and in that we go where we are called to go, reaching out to those in need with our mission work. Miami Lakes UMC has a heart to do good in the neighborhood and abroad, wherever we are called. Above all else, we clothe ourselves in love (Colossians 3:14). For more information on the United Methodist Church, visit https://www.umc.org/ and https://www.flumc.org/ for the Florida Conference UMC.

The staff members at Miami Lakes UMC are passionate about their calling. We love to eat together, pray together, plan together, laugh and cry together. Most importantly, we are one in Christ.

Our services are diverse. We offer a traditional Sunday service at 9:30am, a contemporary Sunday service at 11am, Celebrate Recovery services at 7pm on Wednesdays, and our Hero Starts With Her events are announced throughout the year.
