Forgiveness in Celebrate Recovery

On Monday nights we gather together to learn the steps of recovering from hurts, hang-ups and habits based on the beatitudes of Jesus gave us in Matthew. In the past couple of months we have learned about principle 6: “Happy are the merciful.”-Matthew 5:7, “Happy are the peacemakers.”-Matthew 5:9. This principle is so important that we explored it for two months. First by identify all the people that we had harmed and becoming willing to make amends to them all, which is step 8. Then by making amends in step 9. All of which built on the idea of forgiveness. Are you struggling with forgiving yourself or someone else? All are welcome on Monday nights at 7 pm. We start with worship, learn about a step, and then break into small groups where individual questions, concerns, or prayers can take place.
